On Episode 12 of the podcast, we talked a bit about the new PlayStation Plus games for February. One of them was called Starwhal and nobody had any idea what that could possibly be. Turns out it’s an amazing multiplayer battle game where you play as flying (rocket powered?) narwhals who’s only goal is to stab the hearts of their opponents with their horns. It sounds easy, but narwhals aren’t the most aerodynamic of sea creatures, so you’ll spend a lot more time flopping about than you might think. We played it with two people for about 45 minutes and had a fantastic time, it would probably only get more frantic and fun with more people (the game supports up to four player local matches.) Definitely a game to pick up for free this month if you have PS+, or grab it for $12 on Steam, Xbox One or Wii U.
