I’ve been really good at shopping for myself this holiday. Each week of the Playstation Store Holiday Sale seemed to include a discounted title from my mental wishlist. I picked up Until Dawn and Hotline Miami 2 for cheap. During the Flash Sale, The Telltale Undead Survival Bundle was just $13, so I am finally trying out the acclaimed Walking Dead series. It’s great.
As week 4 hits, my pick is clearly Tales from the Borderlands. I cannot wait to jump back into the world I have enjoyed for hours in previous generations. For just $4.49 with Playstation Plus, what’s not to love?
If you too are new to the Telltale games and curious to give them a try, the Telltale Game Collection is 60% off. That will net you five great games for $44.
Grab The Warriors for half price if you want a good beat ’em up adaptation of the classic 1979 film. The game is 11 years old, but it could scratch the itch you might have for a brawler, a genre I feel needs a little love these days. I might be replacing my PS2 copy this week and revisiting Coney Island soon.
I’ve heard great things about the Tomb Raider games, but never tried them. It may not be the newest Rise of the Tomb Raider, but the remastered Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is available for $6. That seems like an investment I will be happy with no matter the outcome.
There is no shame in taking advantage of all the great deals and stocking up for gaming hibernation now that we have passed the winter solstice.
What were your favorite holiday deals his season?
Stay warm. Play games. Have a safe winter. Byte me.
