In an interview with Phil Spencer says that he’s not interested in fighting a console war with Sony and Nintendo “…while Amazon and Google are focusing on how to get gaming to 7 billion people around the world.” He goes on to say that other “traditional gaming companies” simply don’t have the cloud infrastructure to compete in the coming decade.
