We spend a lot of time talking about Coronavirus this episode, but let’s be frank, it’s kind of a big deal and is having a pretty big impact on video games. First Sony cancelled their PAX appearance, followed by GDC being cancelled and now E3 is also not happening. Where are gamers going to get their Gamer Christmas fix?

Questions

Vinny: Take one character from a video game franchise and put them in another. What’re they doing in that world?

Turndwn4wut: It’s the medieval times and video games exist. What type of games would be some of the hit titles?

Kim Cruz: Not gaming related but from scale 1-10 how much do you fear the coronavirus at this point?

Megan: There’s a zombie apocalypse, which video game character will you choose to defend you from the hordes of undead?

Kent Johnson: What is the first video game you ever played?

Mister Polite: Is there a game that you played in the past that was your jam, but the newer games in that series just don’t hit that itch. I know for me, I was a huge fan of Harvest Moon 64 or the original Animal Crossing but every game after that never really hit me the same way.

JoeColeslaw: What is your favorite “outbreak” game? If there was a video game inspired by a viral outbreak, in this climate what would it be like? Extra HP for handwashing? Defense Up for hand sanitizer? Attack up and area damage over time for sneezing?

Bonus Question: Since you all are HUGE fans of this brand, and they may have leaked or broken this news: What will Devolver Digital do for their “direct/conference/shitshow” for their annual report to the public? I have a guess someone’s head will explode.
